Rationale:

The Third International Conference on Integrated Natural Resources and Environment Management (INREM 2021) which will be held Online on 17 to 18 November 2021 will recognize M.S. and Ph.D. graduates for the past 3 years (2018 to 2021) who did research on integrated natural resources and environment management. The Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) pitch is a new event in the INREM 2021. The showcase of the varied graduate research in a short presentation by creating a convincing storyline to tackling the research problem and providing insightful solutions in three minutes makes the event exciting and challenging.

Requirements:

The pre-selected 10 Finalists will battle it out to be the BEST 3MT presenter. The selection of finalists will be based from the identified judging criteria explained below.

The 10 Finalists shall follow a specific presentation format. Each one of the finalists will be having a total 7-minute showcase in the following structure:

•    1- minute introduction of the finalist by the event host 

•    3 - minute presentation of the pre-recorded research pitch

•    3 - minute live (virtual) Q&A session with the Jury

The 3-minute presentation on innovative practices, research and development program on INREM will be conveyed using simple PPT slide. Specific guidelines for the pre-recorded video presentation are attached below.
 

Prizes

• PhP 10,000 – 1st Prize + Plaque of Recognition
• PhP 7,500 – 2nd Prize + Plaque of Recognition
• PhP 5,000 – 3rd Prize + Plaque of Recognition
